Grass-Finished Lamb
Homespun Hill Farm is home to Katahdin Sheep, a breed known for their sweet and mild succulent flavor. The lambs are rotated on grass forages with the calves. The result is healthy high-vitamin lamb cuts with mouth-watering flavor.
You will find, like our grass finished beef, that our grass finished lamb has a lot less fat than grain finished lamb to cut away from the outer edge of the cuts. The added bonus is that when you are paying by weight, you are paying for more actual meat than fat.
Our frozen lamb cuts are available throughout the year, and we take orders for whole lambs year round.
